It all begins with the wish to change

Time & Paperwork.

All therapy sessions are 55 minutes in length.

Prior to the initial session, the client will complete paperwork of their history along with consent and disclosures forms.

Telehealth.

At this time Kristel is only offering art therapy and counseling services through telehealth. Benefits of this technology are briefly outlined below.

Scheduling.

Sessions are scheduled Tuesday through Friday with some evening and lunch availability. For further questions about times, please reach out.

Privacy.

All sessions will be done remotely through easy to use video software to ensure a client’s privacy and confidentiality. It is secure, private, and adheres to the strict standards set forth by HIPAA.

Payments will also be rendered through the HIPAA compliant app, IvyPay, for ease and convenience to the client.

Insurance.

Please reach out to inquire if Kristel takes your insurance. If Kristel is not paneled to accept a client’s insurance, the client may still pay out of pocket for the full session rate listed below.

All major debit and credit cards are accepted along with HSA/FSA. Cash and checks are not accepted. Payment is collected at time of service.

Benefits of Telehealth

Kristel is currently offering telehealth, remote services through a secure, online platform which has the following benefits:

  • No transportation required

  • Stay in the comfort of your own home with familiar surroundings and pets

  • Work around a busy job or school schedule

  • Great option if you live in an area that does not have many local mental health professionals

  • Art therapy can be done at home (minimal materials are needed)

When deciding if Telehealth is a right fit for you, ask yourself:

  • Do I have a private place with access to the internet or phone service?

  • Do I feel I may need more support than regularly scheduled therapy session may provide?

If you feel you may need more support, then local options may be a better fit for your needs at this time. Otherwise, telehealth is a convenient, effective, and private way to experience art therapy and counseling.
