*I do not take Medicaid at this time.
*I do not take Medicare at this time: Due to recent federal changes with Medicare, licensed professional counselors are able to see clients who have Medicare and do not wish to utilize their Medicare insurance for mental health therapy. This change may benefit you if you are looking to expand your therapy options and work with a provider who uses different approaches in their work with clients such as art therapy. A Medicare Opt-Out form must be completed by the client before starting services. If you are interested, please reach out to me to discuss your options.
Benefits of Telehealth
Kristel is only offering virtual services through a secure, online platform which has the following benefits:
No transportation required
Stay in the comfort of your own home!
Schedule sessions around a busy job or school schedule
Great option if you live in an area that does not have many local mental health therapists and/or art therapists
Art therapy can be done at home (minimal materials are needed)
Sessions can be done anywhere in the state of Colorado
When deciding if Telehealth is a right fit for you, ask yourself:
Do I have a private place with access to the internet or phone service?
Do I feel I may need more support than regularly scheduled therapy session may provide?
If you feel you may need more support, then local options may be a better fit for your needs at this time. Otherwise, telehealth is a convenient, effective, and private way to experience art therapy and counseling.
